Snow
Ok so yea, we had some snow. hmm.... maybe 'some' is an understatement. Some places around Peoria recorded 2 feet of snow, some as little as 1 foot. Little... pfft. It was some crazy shit. Work expected me to make it in. At least for a little while. Then they decided to close for the rest of the day. Imagine that. People can't get out of their driveways let alone their rural streets and main highways. Our street didn't get plowed until around noon... but the entrance to the area we lived didnt get plowed till much later. How retarded is that? Not that it did much good to get out. Just about nothing was open. Cops and the news told people to stay home unless it was an emergency. Grocery stores and Walmart were it... and the occasional gas station. But they all closed early. I would have too. As it was it took us 5 hours to get our car, Andrew's mom's car, AND the driveway cleared. >.<
Oh, and did i mention that this was Tamara's first REAL introduction to snow? Last year we just bundled her up in her little snow suit thingy (it made her look like a fluffy pink starfish.... a CUTE fluffy pink starfish ^^. I still have pix of it in my phone lol) But she has this really awesome snow suit this year. its got a detachable hood, plus a cute cat faced hood thing to go under it, and a scarf(attached), and gloves(also attached), and these cute little detachable booties. Except her feet are too big to fit into them with her shoes on. *sigh* She was ok with the snow as long as she was in someones arms. Preferably mine. But she did get introduced to the snow. She kinda fell onto it. It got her one hand wet and let me tell you, she FLIPPED out. So, baby steps with the snow lol.
